RYAN DUEY and his business partner Michael Garrett are the owners of PLUNGE (It's a bath that has filtered water that starts at 39 degrees). With their  business based out of Lincoln, California Duey and Garrett did something pretty unique. While at an X-Games Event, the duo was asked to go on the highly acclaimed show that entrepreneurs LOVE (including me) ... SHARK TANK! It gets better. They got a deal with Shark Robert Herjavec. Imagine that. And today ... we find out that story and what is behind the success of PLUNGE.

In today's episode of Experience the Buzz, Host Steve Buzzard gets giddy in his conversation with Duey, especially when it came to talking about the Shark Tank Experience. "It's one thing to go on SHARK TANK. It's completely another thing when you get a deal. I was in awe as Rob described the experience."  Our conversation hits THREE areas: 

• SEGMENT 1 ❄️  is all about the product. We start with a history lesson on COLD PLUNGING (which has been around for a long time). Ryan describes how the PLUNGE product is made and what comes to your home when you make a purchase. Duey goes in detail about describing the benefits of doing the PLUNGE. 
• SEGMENT 2 🦈 is completely devoted to the Shark Tank Experience. This is a full pull back the curtain discussion where Duey outlines everything leading up to walking through the infamous Shark Tank doors and hallway. We get all the details regarding their evaluation, reactions from the Sharks, the offers that were put on the table, and what happened once they landed Robert Herjavec. This is truly my favorite subject.
• SEGMENT 3 | 🛁 Our final segment dives into Duey's personal journey and how he was able to connect with Garrett and eventually become business partners. Duey shares some celebrity moments associated with the PLUNGE bath. We finish with the power of win-win relationships and the DO'S and DONT'S of the COLD PLUNGE

Our Connection |  I have a good friend Juan Beck who developed my websites. Juan purchased a PLUNGE bath a few months back. When I saw Ryan + Michael on Shark Tank I reached out to Juan. Beck shared with me that he knew the guys. Didn't take long to get connected and get Ryan on the podcast. I am grateful.
