Ryan Gilbert is running in a packed Democrat primary in August to determine who will run against Estes in November.

Gilbert discusses universal healthcare and says the country needs to start moving toward a single-payer healthcare system. He says the transition would need to happen slowly because of the number of people employed by insurance companies, and he says healthcare should not be run for profit. He also says prescription medication advertising should not be allowed and that pharmaceutical companies should not control healthcare decisions.
