Atlas Guides was started by a couple of thru-hikers who hiked the Pacific Crest Trail together in 2010. The first Guthook Guide was released in 2012, and they haven’t stopped since. What started as a simple, navigational smartphone guide for the PCT has now turned into a portfolio of hiking guides for the most popular trails around the world.
