A Liberal majority government is landing tonight and Ryan Price from CFAX in Victoria has been waiting for the moment the honeymoon breaks. He has been watching for it. It has not happened yet. He is genuinely unsure what to do with that information.

 

What does it feel like to watch a government accumulate power from this far away? In BC the environmental rollbacks are real and the concern is real and the pipelines conversation is real. Vancouver Island elected every single federal party in the last election. The full spectrum. And tonight most of them are watching the same result land.

 

The question Ryan keeps coming back to is what kind of Liberal Party shows up once it can ease into a majority and stop needing to impress anyone. That question does not have an answer yet. The honeymoon is still going.
