Ryan brings his wealth of knowledge and passion for teaching to the rink each and every day. After playing his entire minor hockey career in the Greater Toronto Hockey League, he moved on to play Junior A for the Wexford Raiders and Cornwall Colts. From there, Ryan received a Division 1 NCAA scholarship to Mercyhurst University in Pennsylvania. Following graduation he went on to play professionally in the United States, Finland, and Germany.

After his long journey in hockey, he realized it was time for a change. He later, spent some time in the corporate world of sales and excelled in his career but he knew something was missing. It was not until training some kids in hockey that he realized this was where he belonged. After speaking to his family and loved ones, he made the decsion to open his own hockey school.
