Ryan Zimmerman was the Nationals' first ever draft pick. He was the 4th overall pick of the 2005 draft and made his MLB debut just a few months later. Zimmerman never looked back as he developed into one of the games best third basemen. He was a 2x All-Star, 2x Silver Slugger, World Series champion, and a Gold Glove winner. He is Mr. National. We can expect to see #11 retired by the organization in the near future.
