Growing up in the South Omaha area gives you many things both on and off the court, and understanding where you came from helps provide the drive to give back to kids the best way one knows possible. We talk with Omaha South High School & University of Nebraska Omaha Alumni Chris Bober, who went undrafted in the NFL to have a career of 7 years with the New York Giants and Kansas City Cheifs. During those years, he learned from many other players the word, dedication, and technique of what it took to be a Professional Football Player and give back through not only his Bober Academy but also camps like FBU or Football University Camp that was just in Omaha. The lessons learned and passed down from players/coaches sometimes hit home with future players when Bober explained he wasn't the best lineman, but he was smart and used his technique and hard work to win the battles needed to get to the next level. We add Football Mentor Yano Jones, who also played back in the day with Bober at UNO, to provide mentorship and help bring FBU to Omaha.
