A game of baseball is something many consider a game of the past time where you remember things like playing with your dad and maybe even one day playing for your dad and, if you are lucky enough, possibly playing at the next level like your dad! We share Omaha Gross 2023 Grad and Future Creighton Bluejays Baseball Player Connor Capece and his journey from unknown just playing with the boys to now with a chance at getting drafted in the 2023 MLB draft. If you look back just a couple of years, you see a kid that loved being a multiple sport athlete playing with all his same buddies on and off the court, creating a bond, a culture, a team, and a friendship that will take a local high school like Gross to a new level. Connor loved all sports, but following in his father's footsteps and possibly playing NCAA Baseball was a dream until he put in the work, dedication, and time to make it a reality and transform his body into one that could make it to the MLB. Still, struggles, turndowns, and failures along the way make the fire burn to work harder than before.
