Knowing an athlete and his family for a long time brings memories, excitement, support, and the feeling of being a small part of the giant army it takes to raise our kids in this day and age. We get to know Papillion-La Vista Monarchs and Future Nebraska Cornhusker Baseball Player Brett Hoelscher and his father, Clint Hoelscher, a Papillion-La Vista Monarchs Softball Assistant Coach. Finding Brett's passion for baseball is one thing, but seeing it in action on and off the diamond helps show the dedication, hard work, and accountability the Bolt Era Huskers are looking for and about to get with this LHP from the 2025 class. Utilizing multiple opportunities like Wired Training Center, Prospects Baseball, PBR Nebraska, and of course, the coaches to become the player he is today dates back to the dedication his mother and father showed not just him but his 3 sisters as well. In this edition, though, we take it a step forward and get a 1 on 1 with Coach and Father Clint Hoelscher, as raising 4 kids and getting them to enjoy their sports at the next level but also finding time to be a dad is challenging. Still, the journey has created memories, moments, and times that will be remembered forever, and we appreciate getting a different view.
