Imagine starting as a player and a coach in little league baseball in a smaller town of Norfolk to becoming the 2023 NAIAAA Nebraska Athletic Director of the Year like Jeremy VanAckeren, who is the Athletic Director for Papillion La - Vista South High School and his former coach previous PLVHS AD and now current College of St. Marys Athletic Director Jeff Johnson. Explaining how dedication, culture, and the excellent team hired can help lead to success for their student-athletes on and off the field and provide opportunities for future leaders. When you are humble and dedicated to your job, it's okay to be recognized and honored, but the feelings from your mentor show that the process started a long time ago.
