My Weirdest Experience

S 1 Ep 49 The Effect of Religious Obedience on the Black Community with Kaci Chamone

Listen Later

I asked Dr. Kaci Chamone to return to the show for a second time to have a frank and open discussion on religion and its effect on the Black community. Dr. Kaci is an Army vet, author, ordained minister and Certified Life Coach. Her first episode on the show is # 39 "My Mother Almost Killed Me" (check it out).  Kaci and I discuss the effect of religion on the indigenous and communities of color, and how the church has systematically dominated cultures into obedience. We also discuss metaphysical practices and how that was demonized by the church as evil, even though it actually empowers the practitioner.
