Anthony Bastone is 25 years old and is from Baltimore, MD. When he was 17 years old he was diagnosed with Scoliosis. He had a 27 degree curve in his spine. After being diagnosed he decided that he wanted to got though with a surgery that would straighten his spine. The surgery was a success and 1 month later he was back in the gym working out. A couple years later while Bastone was in college he a had a slight discomfort in his back that went away after a couple days. Even though he couldn't really feel anything he knew that something was wrong. X-rays showed that he had broken the titanium rods in his back. After getting the news he went ahead and had his second surgery. Today he doesn't have any problems with his back but in this episode he delivers a strong message for anyone who has been diagnosed with Scoliosis.
