Pilgrims, the bible isn’t primarily about men being masculine or women being feminine. The Bible is primarily about God. Faithful Christians, throughout the history of the church, have held to the conviction that man’s chief end is to glorify God and fully enjoy him forever. One way that this happens is when men and women live into the God-exalting and joy-invoking realities of Biblical manhood and womanhood and the unique and different ways God has created and called men and women to live.

A culture that rejects God’s good design, as it pursues joy outside of a relationship with him, will only be able to offer counterfeits, which always lead to disappointment and despair. True and lasting joy can only be found in God and the things which he has called good.

One of the significant issues with America and American Christianity is that people have been persuaded to embrace ideologies which run contrary to the Word of God and scriptures which should expose this reality are often ignored or avoided, because they are difficult and typically lead to controversy inside and outside the church.

In this episode of the Podcast, Mike and I make efforts to intentionally dive into these difficult passages, to try and understand why they are not only true but also how they actually point us to pathway to peace, joy, unity, and satisfaction…even as they strongly push against the philosophies and dogmas of a godless culture.
