Yesterday’s live podcast episode wasn’t just a conversation—it was an odyssey.
S. Scott Mason , I genuinely, deeply enjoyed our exchange. We journeyed through Greek mythology, leadership reinvention, personal identity, and still left so much more on the table.
There was laughter, truth-telling, and wisdom that kept unfolding in every direction.
For everyone who missed it: I implore you to visit MyFreedomRocks.com and discover who Scott is and what he's building. His fusion of myth, mindset, and modern transformation is like nothing else I’ve come across.
At one point in the conversation, I asked about “Mentor”—the wise guide from The Odyssey. But Scott was actually referring to the Minotaur—the mythical creature with the body of a man and the head of a bull, trapped in a labyrinth and fed by human sacrifice.
And here’s the brilliance: Scott wasn’t just talking myth. He was talking metaphor.
The Minotaur represents the beast within us all—the part of us trapped by fear, fed by avoidance, and hidden deep in the maze of our mind. But leadership? Growth? Freedom? Those require us to face the Minotaur. To walk into the labyrinth and meet whatever monster is waiting.
That conversation hit different.
Scott, we must do this again. There’s still so much to unpack—and next time, let’s bring the tribe. And yes… we absolutely need to get sponsors for our clothing lines.
Let’s turn this movement into something you can wear, live, and lead with.
Until then—thank you for the fire, the clarity, and the mirror. You showed up, fully. And so did I.
Let’s run it back soon.
Thanks for reading,
William Rochelle, but you can call me Bill
