The Oilers came back from a 4-0 deficit against the Stars to make it 4-3 but fell short overall. Stuart Skinner took an accidental knee to the face from Mikko Rantanen and was pulled out of the game due to a head injury. In response, Olivier Rodrigue has been called up from Bakersfield, and Derek Ryan has been sent back to the AHL.
