Today is the 29th March 2024 which is exactly ten years since same-sex marriage was legalised in England and Wales. Scotland was a little slower, passing the law in December 2014 and Northern Ireland was a lot slower, only passing the law in 2020, just four years ago. But that does
mean that same-sex marriage is now legal in the entire United Kingdom.
Today we celebrate the anniversary, talking about same-sex marriage around the globe and just how much work needs to be done before we reach global equality.
