In this final episode of Season One I'm joined by Noel Goodwin, the former director of the BFI Future Film Festival which he headed from 2008 to 2019, supporting rising UK filmmakers.
Now he's been appointed the Talent Development Director and Creative Producer by Sovereign Films, the studio behind Palme d'Or winning "Triangle of Sadness" and Cannes Jury Award Winner "Memoria".
Noel has such a wealth of knowledge when it comes to independent filmmaking, having championed now Sundance Grand Jury Prize Winner Charlotte Regan ("Scrapper"), and an unrivalled understanding of the UK film landscape which he puts to practice for Sandwich Club Productions, a hybrid talent management / production company which develops emerging film talent.
