One thing has become abundantly clear this past year: we are in the middle of a spiritual battle.
This has been the case since Genesis chapter three, when sin entered the world and Satan was given a foothold in the lives of mankind. But it is sometimes easy to forget as we get comfortable and complacent in our lives.
If things are going well enough, there isn't any visible persecution, and we're focused on just the regular, every day things that come with being a person in the world, it can be really easy to forget that there's another dimension to our lives.
But when something happens that turns our every day life upside down, we get a glimpse into the behind the scenes spiritual battle that has been raging all around us this whole time.
