Professor Margaret Hellard is the Director of the Centre for Population Health at the Burnett Institute. Margaret has been at the forefront of developing cutting-edge public health responses to addressing the hepatitis C epidemic among people who inject drugs in Australia including leading a new ambitious study aimed at eliminating hepatitis C as a public health concern in Australia by 2030.
