Tim Carroll is a high level CrossFit athlete (former 4x Regionals athlete), former professional GRID league captain, and owner of CrossFit 908 (now 908 Athletics) Berkeley Heights NJ and 908 Central, Westfield NJ. In addition, June 2012 he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, making him one of over 25 million Americans with this health challenge.

Right now there is a lot of controversy surrounding Crossfit the company, and particularly the owner, Greg Glassman. This interview was recorded a few weeks ago, but hearing my guest Tiim Carroll’s thoughts and opinions before the Glassman controversy shows how critical it is to stick to your fundamental guiding principles for anyone involved in Crossfit or in any business.
