Rachel Averbukh is an independent safeguarding consultant who values a collaborative approach working with organisations to develop lasting attitudinal change. As an academic and policy professional Rachel has worked across a wide variety of sectors, most recently as the Executive Manager of Safeguarding Operations for The Salvation Army. A founding member of the Child Safety Communities of Practice within the Jewish community, Rachel’s research has focused on supporting closed communities to better support children, young and vulnerable people.
