"It takes a real man to wear a spandex." - is how Thomas simply puts it when it comes to being a male vaulter.

"You don’t have to fear what everybody else thinks." - is one of his mottos and with that he has been part of a big vaulting barrel competiton in Denmark with a grand final at "The Tivoli" in Copenhagen (which is a huge amusement park in Denmark and one of the oldest in the world).
