Feliciana de Milão (1632-1705) was a mysterious nun, powerhouse, writer, public letter maker! With unknown origins, Feliciana joins a convent aged 30 and goes on to take part in political discussions of the seventeenth century like very few women did. Her relationship with the King makes her a target but her wit sees her navigating the minefield of baroque politics.
Between nuneaters and brotherly love, apologies but there’s a part of the episode in which André whispers - cute but that was clearly added later to give some more insight into the foundling wheels - fitting with the theme!
