How to Create a Positive Experience:

 

1. Use that not-so-good situation as an opportunity to educate others.
2. Turn the situation around and perhaps make a new friend.
3. Be prepared. Be aware of potentially triggering situations and how you could and should respond.
4. In cases when you try to educate and elevate those around you and it's just not working, walk away. Try again next time!
