The last Dyke bar in Vancouver closed in 2011. It was called Lick. Since then, the party scene for queer women, non binary and Trans folks has been roving and vibrant. For #IWD I sit down with Paige Frewer, local Drag performer, entrepreneur and party organizer, and Nadine Boulay, local Queer Historian, to talk about where this scene came from, and where we see it going.
