This episode is the first interview with 2 vaulters at the same time: long time active vaulter Devon Maitoza, who has been the oldest vaulter participating at a world championship and his partner Kalyn Noah, who also has been a vaulter for a long time. The interview was held in august 2021, just right before they headed over to Europe for training and competing. Devon has been in the sport for over 39 years and is still active. His greatest medal won was a gold medal in Rome in 1998. Kalyn is originally from Canada, has been vaulting since she was 16 years old and is still active with her now 33 years of age. Despite the late start in the sport she has made it all the way to qualify for the World Championships.
