But Then How?

S02E09 - Reverse Ageing, Save Trillions (Benjamin Wu)

Listen Later

Drugs to slow aging, factors of aging and morbidity, arguments for promoting reverse-aging treatments, eye health and age-related disease.

Benjamin’s Introduction:

I’m Benjamin Wu, an Aussie PhD student studying ageing biology and regenerative medicine at UNSW Sydney, and am a clinical optometrist interested in age-related eye disease. I became progressively more interested in ageing the more I realised that I never have enough time to do the things I enjoy. I’m passionate about developing therapeutics to increase healthspan - by slowing or reversing ageing to address the healthcare challenges of our ageing populations. I also hope to make a contribution to extending the healthy lifespans of those who are excited about living as I am.
