Andy B was having a little quiet time with God, and was reading Isaiah 66.

In the second verse of this scripture, God tells us the sort of people He is looking to.

This comes just after we’re reminded of how God made the universe and everything in it, during the first 144 hours (6 days) of the universe.

But, as spectacular as all of that is, and all of creation - that is nothing, compared to how God will look to those who believe in Him, have a healthy respect and reverence of Him, and who takes God’s words, through scripture – treating them as they should be: the spoken words of God Himself!

Do we read scripture like that? As much as are God’s children, we still need to be reverent towards Him.

He is God and He loves us.

But He is still God and worthy of our love and respect!
