Ola Volo is a Kazakh Canadian artist known for her folklore-inspired work and her depiction of strong women who sit at the centre of their own stories. Travelling to the UK earlier in the year she painted her first mural in the UK. A sassy queen of hearts in Brighton imbuing the spirit of the women of the city, Working with Enter gallery that visit also co-incided with her first print release with the gallery.
Her new release is based on the mural she created when she was here last. Speaking to Art Related Noise she talks about the inspiration behind the mural as well as giving us an insight into her wider art practice.
