In a wide ranging talk, I speak to Dr. Mikio L Braun, who is an independent consultant and freelancer in the field of applied AI in Berlin. In past he has worked extensively in building data products and researching AI at companies like Zalando, Get Your Guide and others. He is a prolific public speaker and thought leader in this space. We had a free ranging talk as a follow up from the past appearances in the podcast (back in 2020) and covered lot of areas : impact of LLMs and Generative AI, how education and software development will be affected, impact on society and the art of learning. We also talked about Alignment problem in AI systems and how ideal social media systems can be developed.
