The galaxy is at war. Thirty years after the fall of the Empire, the First Order has continued Palpatine's conquest of the universe, and destroyed the New Republic with a superweapon in deep space.

Although General Organa's Resistance destroyed the weapon, the threat of Starkiller Base did not diminish. Debris from its destruction agitated a dormant Killik colony, introducing a new enemy into the conflict.

Along with her allies the Empire Wreckers, Rey travelled to the planet to deal with the Killiks, and acquired a Kyber crystal of her own before returning to the Resistance base on Ajan Kloss....
