Show Summary
As a Savage Worlds GM when do you enforce a rule, ignore a rule, or make them up on the fly? We start the conversation with situational application of commonly ignored or hand waved Savage Worlds Rules: like Encumbrance, Thirst, Hunger, etc. By situational, we mean “it only matters, when it is dramatically appropriate in the game/story”.
Savage Worlds Rules are incredibly modular and easy to drop in or out of your game to fit the particular setting, or situation.
If you choose to ignore Encumbrance Rules, as an example, players shouldn’t waste their points at character creation on the Brawny Edge.
Savage Worlds does not have rules for basic economy or money. If you want to make it matter in your setting, then Nemesiz: Optional Wealth Rules is a great free supplement from Gramel.
