I wrote a romance novel called "The Spice of the Autumn Night," a clumsy and meandering tale of friendship and adventure, with inconsistent characterization and a plot that barely holds together. Then, without editing it or improving it in any way, I recorded it, chapter by chapter, as a podcast.
