First-year Temple head coach Stan Drayton talked during spring ball about adding depth at quarterback, and the Owls did just that with the addition of former Virginia Tech and North Dakota State QB Quincy Patterson. Adam DiMichele scouted Patterson previously when he entered the transfer portal coming out of Virginia Tech and talked about what Patterson's addition could mean to the Owls, returning starter D'Wan Mathis and Temple's quarterback room.
