It's been quite the basketball ride for Cedarville University graduate student Jacob Drees.

The Hilliard, Ohio product has been able to enjoy a five-year career on the hardwood with the Yellow Jackets just 45 minutes from his hometown.

Drees has developed into one of the top big men in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference by earning All-G-MAC honors and leading the league in rebounding in each of the past two seasons.

However, the 6-foot-7 forward understands that it's off the court where he's learned the most.

Listen as Drees explains that he saw something different about CU compared to other schools when he was being recruited, how being part of the Yellow Jackets is more than just basketball, and how the team's trip to Israel last summer helped put everything into perspective.
