This episode begins on a more sorrowful note as I share the impact that losing my Nana to cancer had on the show production and remainder of summer term. However, it picks up as I highlight the ways I aimed to meaningfully mourn and process the loss. I talk about books I read including This Could Be Us by Kennedy Ryan and 7 Days in Summer by Tia Williams. I also talk about the lessons I have learned so far about living with your partner. Transitioning from personal life, I cover how my academic life continued on and I describe some of my key takeaways from the semester. I then move on to talk about my work life and plans for the summer. This concludes the first season–but I look forward to returning with new episodes for you all in November.
