After a conversation with Pappy leads the party to questioning what actually happened to Shane's uncle, Jason, the party discovers something strange at the waterfront. Heading to the office the party speaks with Sunflower and the conversation strikes a nerve in Shane about the disappearance of his uncle. Addie and Charlie head to Fossil Beach to collect some fossils in the form of beads to keep Charlie busy while Joey and Shane check out the mysterious algae bloom Charlie told them about. Joey discovers that there may be something growing this algae bloom as Shane tracks a path up to the Dining Hall. This is all and well until Addie finds herself in a scary situation!
