Welcome to our third "For Your Consideration" minisode, where one of us champions a movie that has either been unfairly maligned or has fallen into woeful obscurity.

In this FYC, Dancy waxes poetic about Death Dealers and lycans in what is essentially the movie equivalent of an Evanescence cover band: UNDERWORLD, 2003's masterpiece starring Kate Beckinsale and a bunch of other people who pale in comparison to Kate.

As we talk about the badass action scenes and surprisingly ok politics of Underworld, we fall into a conversation that we'll likely return to many times over the course of this pod project (#podproj): when something feels "cool," what part of our brain is it scratching?
