Hey fellow Light Bearers, welcome back. I hope you enjoyed our month of talking about true love—God’s unconditional, sacrificial, unchanging love for us in Christ. As we turn the page on that series, we’re stepping into a new season on the calendar of the Church: the time leading up to Passover and Resurrection Sunday, or Easter as it’s called here in the United States.

Easter has nothing to do with bunnies, and if there are eggs, I like to think they should be empty to remind us of the empty tomb. But underneath all the cultural traditions, this season is really about remembering the greatest sacrifice ever: Jesus dying on the cross for our sins and rising again in victory. Through the month of March and the first week of April, we’re going to focus in on Jesus and intentionally position our hearts to respond well to this season.
