The Summer of Love during the late 1960s gave me my first taste of the entrepreneurial world.  

At age 8, totally bored out of my mind one lazy summer, I started a little "store" in the backyard along our little country lane.  One product lead to another, keeping me busy and  fascinated about how to serve the other kids on our side street.   

When desire to serve meets a market need, magic happens.  This is an ageless truth, no matter the economic situation.
