Can you believe we are on Step 10 of the the 12 steps to recovery!?! I love this step... the key principle is: Continue to take personal inventory, and when you are wrong promptly admit it. How many of us can say that every time we do something wrong we not only own up to it, but also PROMPTLY admit it. I wish I could say I owned up and promptly admitted my faults 100% of the time... but I'm human and still struggle sometimes.
Not only does this principle help create a happier, more truthful and in my opinion better life... personal accountability was a huge part of breaking free from my cycle of addiction.
