My guest on this week’s episode is Lydia Rui who wrote, directed and edited her latest short film This Perfect Day (2018) starring Michelle Keating, Lee Mason and Hannah Koch. The film has been screened at the Tribeca Film Festival, Inside Out Film Festival and many more!

We jumped into Lydia’s film festival experience, how she got into filmmaking while studying media culture communications at NYU, working as Beyonce’s videographer on the Mrs Carter tour and the cultural impact of Crazy Rich Asians (2018).
