When the US Post Office in the Central Area shut down, The Postman Seattle — and the United States Postal Service — opened shop on MLK and Union to give the community a place to pack, ship, and get their mail through the ongoing changes in the neighborhood. After the tragic loss of her husband in 2022, D'Vonne Pickett Jr., Keanna has continued their family's legacy through her grief to ensure that the community she loves continues to thrive and receive the services they deserve.
