John & Paul visited a semi-local record shop recently. Today, they sit down to briefly discuss the profound difference(s) in the ways in which we 'shop' for new music. There are certainly pros and cons to either brick & mortar record shops versus the digital streaming/download method. For everyone, each of these have big implications for how the entire music industry is moving forward (which we do not get into in this episode).
