Malachi gives additional warnings to the priests in this chapter. In verse 2, he says: “‘If you do not listen, and if you do not resolve to honor my name,’ says the Lord Almighty, ‘I will send a curse on you, and I will curse your blessings.’”
He warns them not to break covenant through divorce or through injustice.
