Each month IPEC Presents focuses on policy engagement and teaching that addresses ethical and cultural challenges, implications, and strategies relevant to the emerging techno-cultural environment.

In today’s episode of IPEC Presents, our guest Dr. Jason Archer discusses his vision for the Human Machine Culture research area, which he leads for IPEC. This research area is inviting new members and collaborators to join and work together on exciting new projects and publications. Jason is a scholar whose work bridges the connections between technology and culture, human and machine. In our discussion, we talked about the meaning of human machine culture, and the various uses of the term haptics as it relates to fields of study. Join us for a journey of what it means to be living on the verge of a new sensical revolution: touch.
