After receiving a master's degree in Computer Science from Cambridge University, Peter Scott worked for NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory for over thirty years, helping advance our exploration of the Solar System. Since 2015 he has written and spoken about the issues of exponential progress in technology, particularly artificial intelligence.
His 2017 book, “Crisis of Control: How Artificial SuperIntelligences May Destroy or Save the Human Race” explores these issues.
