Nicole K. McNichols Ph.D. is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she also received her Ph.D. in Social Psychology. Over the past eight years, Nicole has built her class, "The Diversity of Human Sexuality," into the University of Washington’s largest and most popular undergraduate course in its history with close to four thousand enrolled students each year. Nicole is the co-author of the textbook “Human Sexuality: A Critical Introduction.” She is frequently a writer and speaker regarding topics in human sexuality and is a frequent contributor to Psychology Today. In 2019, she delivered a Ted Talk entitled "Students on Top: A Guide to 21st Century Sex Education." Nicole is an active member of a variety of societies for teaching human sexuality and is a three-time Distinguished Teaching Award Nominee.
