Today's episode is an interview with Nia Coffey who currently plays for the Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA. She grew up in Minnesota, playing basketball at Hopkins High School before playing at Northwestern University. Nia has been in the WNBA for four seasons.

Nia comes from a very big basketball family: her father, Richard Coffee, played in the NBA and her brother, Amir Coffee, currently plays for the Los Angeles Clippers in the NBA.

Nia opens up about her ups and downs during her time in the WNBA. She went from not really being challenged too much in college to having to fight for minutes and fight through injuries. She's come to realize that she doesn't need to prove herself to anyone and that she should pursue what makes her happy in her career.
