In this episode, I speak with Katie Derhousoff who runs the amazing Instagram page Cross Out Toxicity, a page all about strengthening relationship with self in order to maintain healthy relationships with others. We do this by normalizing discussions around sex, bodies, and practicing better communication skills. She became really passionate about all things sexual wellness, especially the importance of realistic and honest sex education for young people. She launched Cross out Toxicity 3 months ago and for now, it is just a relatable page on Instagram.
Once she's certified in the fall for sex and intimacy counseling, she will be offering individual and couples coaching and workshops. She's new to the game, but the great thing about the sex community (in terms of business) uplift takes over competition. The more people that talk about normalizing bodies and sex, the better!
